About Us
Entle Game Farm is nestled in the Elands River Valley, adjacent to the Cockscomb and Winterhoek Mountains. Spanning 570 hectares of open land, it is located less than 45 minutes’ drive from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape, offering an easy escape into nature.
With the Bulk River flowing through the farm, Entle is rich in both natural and historical character. It is a peaceful setting designed for slowing down, spending time outdoors, and reconnecting with the land.
The farm is home to a wide variety of wildlife, with over 20 species found across its grasslands, riverine valleys and fynbos areas. Forest-dwelling species include bushbuck, baboon, and the rarely seen blue duiker, while eland, red hartebeest, blesbuck, impala, giraffe, mountain reedbuck and grey duiker roam the open landscapes. Leopards are present on the farm, though sightings are rare and part of the natural rhythm of the area.

The Farmhouse
A spacious self-catering farmhouse made for outdoor living and time together
The farmhouse features five bedrooms, including one en suite room with a king-size bed, two rooms with queen-size beds sharing a bathroom, and two family-friendly rooms with three single beds each and shared bathroom access. The open-plan kitchen and lounge include a built-in pizza oven, creating a relaxed space for shared meals and evenings together. Outside, a braai lapa overlooking the Bulk River and a wood-fired jacuzzi offer the perfect setting for potjie kos, outdoor dining and unwinding after a day outdoors.

Mpunzi Log Cabin
The Mpunzi Log Cabin features two large bunk rooms, each with four bunk beds, separated by a shared communal area, with two showers and two toilets in each wing. Guests also have access to the Mbabala Lapa, a thatched communal space with a fully equipped shared kitchen, ideal for group meals and social time together. A large stoep overlooking the dam offers sweeping views towards the Winterhoek Mountains, creating a relaxed outdoor space to unwind after a day outdoors.

The Mbabala Lapa is a welcoming thatched communal space primarily used by guests camping or staying in the Mpunzi Log Cabin. It serves as a central gathering point, offering solid wooden furniture and a fully equipped shared kitchen for relaxed group meals and social time.
In addition to guest use, the Mbabala Lapa is available for day hire by arrangement, making it a great venue for small celebrations, family gatherings or special occasions. Set in a peaceful outdoor environment, it offers a practical and scenic space for spending time together in nature.
