Entle Private Game Reserve is nestled in the Elands River Valley between the Cockscoombe and Winterhoek Mountains. It is a pristine 480 Hectare Reserve situated less than 45 minutes drive from the city of Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Rich in natural and historical diversity with the Bulk river running through it, it is a tranquil haven to get back into nature and rejuvenate your body, soul and mind.
The reserve boasts over 14 species of game. Inhabitants of the forests include Bushbuck, Baboon, and the rarely seen Blue Duiker. Eland, Red Hartebees, Blesbuck, Impala, Giraffe, Common Reedbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Red Duiker roam on the grasslands, endemic fynbos and riverine valleys. Elusive Leopards frequent the farm.
The main farmhouse is a double story which has 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 10 guests. Two bedrooms have a Queen size bed each and the other two bedrooms have a single and a bunk-bed each. The open plan kitchen and lounge even includes a built-in pizza oven.
A Braai Lapa with a view over the Bulk River is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxed Potjie Kos. The house is fully stocked with linen, cutlery and crockery.
The Mpunzi Log Cabin accommodates up to 16 guests in two large rooms with a communal area separating them.
Each wing has its own private ablutions. Four bunk-beds are in each of the rooms.
A large stoep ensures magnificent views across the dam to the Winterhoek Mountains in the North.
Over 25km of trails are well marked catering for a leisurely stroll or an extreme trail run. Choose what you feel like doing and seeing. Central meeting points are at the Farm House, Mbabala Lapa and Highest point of the farm.
18km of Trails on the farm which borders both the renowned Elands River Road to Patensie and the Thornhill State Forest linking to the Crossways Trails means riders have hundreds of kilometers of unspoilt routes to choose from.
The farm has a vast array of feathered friends because of the many biomes it has such as riverine forest, fynbos, grassland, dams and open veld.

The Bulk River dam is less than a kilometer from Entle and the Sand River Dam is a few kilometers further up the valley. Small mouth Bass are a pleasure to catch.
